Mountain Equinox pottery candle (Limited edition)

A collaboration with a local potter, Tyler Neutgens from Louisville, Colorado of Ty's Homemade.

After the candle is gone, there's a beautiful piece of artwork to drink from, hold a little plant, or other little things bouncing around in your world. ✨

Created on the Autumnal Equinox...the day of perfect balance between light and dark, these handcrafted vessels captured it beautifully with the new Fall sunlight. The texture mimics the Flatirons where we live on the front range of Rockies commemorate a special time and place.

The fragrance is composed of organic and wildcrafted aromatics of Sage, White sage, Bee balm, Palo Santo, Mountain Pine, May chang, and an earthy vintage Spikenard - reminiscent of a hike through the dryland prairie of the potently nurturing Mt. Shasta in northern California.

Clean burning with hemp wick and soy-based wax. No synthetics like toxic fragrances.

Size of vessel: 5 - 6 oz. each.

Burn time: approx. 30+ hours.

Best results: Keep wick trimmed to 1/4" and burn no more than two hours at a time.

On a personal note:

It's not easy to create a completely non-toxic, fragrant candle. 🫠 These candles are the result of trial and error (lots of it).

I'm not entirely sold on burning essential oils (and often discourage it), but for now, there are a few available. If interest persists, I've been know to change my mind.

My recommendation for candles, in general, is to purchase or make your own candles with clean ingredients and skip the fragrance as most are toxic (yes, even when they say "natural"). Yet...here we are. 🪄✨
